			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As I drive to work every morning, I see alot of moms pushing their babies in their strollers and I&#8217;ve noticed that alot of them still have that mommy tummy that makes them look 4 months pregnant!&#8230;that&#8217;s what motivated me to write this post.</p>
<p>After we have a baby, its imperative to REHAB our core and work on our posture. Plenty of isometric work of your transverse and pelvic floor will strengthen your core back. But most important, you need to assume proper posture the rest of the day <span style="text-decoration: underline;">all day</span>!</p>
<p>I know that while we are pregnant most of us forget how to use our abs, but making a conscious effort pays back. Wearing a postpartum girdle helps alot. It creates awareness of were your abs need to be: squeezed back in. Try and wear it the amount of time you showd a belly while pregnant (Usually 5 months). Furthermore, stand up tall. It&#8217;s very common to see all new moms hunched forward. Every other day try to strengthen your upper back and stretch your chest.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t wait until you go to the gym to take care of yourself&#8230;stroll the baby, drive your car, sit down at a business meeting making sure you are squeezing your abs in and standing up tall. It makes a big difference in the way you look!</p>

Because I had three previously unsuccessful pregnancies and am over forty the thought of exercising during my pregnancy made me a little nervous. I wanted to make sure I was doing things right so I wouldn’t harm my baby. However, every session with Erika put me at ease because each was fun, challenging and a learning experience. All the knowledge she has about the changes a women’s body goes through reassured me that I was with one of the best in the trade.  She taught me a great deal about my body, pregnancy and labor. The results were nominal weight gain, easy labor, a very smooth post-partum process and most importantly a beautiful healthy baby girl. The transverse abdominals wraps around the torso like a corset, just below the rib cage. This very important muscle holds internal organs in place, provides balance and coordination for all daily movements, and stabilizes the lower back and torso during heavy lifting. But few traditional exercises address the transverse abdominal! This muscles is worked mostly by isometric contraction.</p>
<p>My client below consistently squezed her transverse abs during pregnancy and six months later into her postpartum period, her abs looked tight and sweet!
